Project Description

Selbourne is situated on the Kwa-Zulu Natal South Coast and was created in 1985 when a farmer decided to turn his dairy stud farm into the first Golf Estate in South Africa. His intent was clear – preserve the rich flora and fauna surrounding the manor house. Today, this sprawling Victorian architectural statement is the centrepiece of a family run retreat. Woven around the natural rock and contours and verdant indigenous coastal forest – home to duiker, mongoose, bushbuck and over 160 bird species – Selbourne offers unequalled natural beauty and tranquility with a world of activities and attractions to keep one busy.
